Meet Our Team

We are a team of humans that are living the mindset

“Be the Light You Wish to See.”

Amy Diamondstein–Founder, LMT, ERYT-200

Yoga is for EVERYONE. Yoga benefits EVERYONE. The life practices of Presence, Kindness and Compassion, Honesty, Authenticity, Conscious Energy, Healing, and Self-Study are paramount to moving through this human experience in Testimony to how precious the LIFE JOURNEY truly is. I want to share these practices with EVERYONE. And, for those who are not receiving these services due to a lack of financial resources, I want to create ACCESS. We are all here together for a reason. Life is about lifting each other up–so that we may heal the collective and create a more meaningful life experience for every single one of us.

The seed for One Love One Light Foundation was planted in my heart in April 2023. I am so grateful to witness this seed sprout and grow, and I cannot wait to see the garden of beauty that blooms as we move forward in this Mission.

I was born and raised in New York City.  I’ve experienced and witnessed trauma.  Through Determination, Education, Spiritual beliefs, I successfully became an RN and continued on to a Masters in Public Administration.  I am married and have raised two children to be amazing adults. I love being grandma to 3 beautiful children.

When Amy approached me about One Love One Light Foundation I was thrilled that this was truly coming to fruition.  I have experienced energetic healing and believe the Mission of One Love One Light will offer a conduit for people to continue in the process of healing themselves.  Quoting Amy Diamondstein now, “Yoga is for and benefits Everyone. It avails the student to heal as they enter into a practice of Presence, Kindness, Compassion, Honesty, Authenticity, Conscious Energy, Healing.

I am proud to be a member of this organization, supporting the Mission and Healing of Mind, Body and Spirit.

I am so grateful to be a Board Member for One Love One Light Foundation. I was introduced to Surya Yoga from a neighbor/friend and I knew, even on the patio outside during Covid, that this was a special, unique, and profoundly loving place where I felt at home & safe.  As I met the owner and yoga teachers, that loving joy just grew and grew.

I am married 40+ years to a handsome, funny, loving man. We have 2 confident, amazing children and a vibrant, beautiful daughter-in-law.

I am a Registered Nurse of 50+ years with a Clinical Nurse Specialty (M.S.) in Gerontology. I am 70 years old and am proud to say “I earned every day of them.” I practiced Hatha Yoga, throughout my nursing career to replenish my heart and soul energies– as I was blessed with the opportunity to help others find their way to quality of life and wellness.

I began my yoga journey at age 16-17 when the Guru’s/Yogi’s from India visited Chicago.  Our local police department took Yoga training and then offered Self Defense and Yoga for High School Girls and their Moms. Our teachers joked “Self defense to protect yourselves and Yoga to calm you down so you don’t beat up your siblings when you get home.”  Through Surya I became a 200 Hour Level Yoga Teacher 2+ years ago and I teach at my HOA Clubhouse weekly. The beauty of being able to connect to the light and love within and between others and myself, is why I am so proud and humbled to be a part of One Love One Light Foundation. I hope you will join me in bringing these empowering services to others.

Cindy Weiser—Board Member

As a retired social worker, I know the importance of self-care. During my years of working, I was acutely aware that many of my clients could not afford to avail themselves of most adjunct therapies such as yoga, massage, Reiki, meditation or breath work classes. In addition to the physical and emotional benefits of these practices, the opportunity to participate in a community that is supportive and nurturing is vital to healing and growth. I often felt helpless in my efforts to find no/low cost avenues for these types of healing therapies.

I have had the pleasure and privilege to have Amy Diamondstein as my massage therapist, yoga instructor, and friend. When she approached me to work with her to co-support this foundation, I felt hopeful that we would create opportunities for underserved populations to have access to these practices. We all need to be lifted up. We all need to feel supported. We all need to know how to take care of ourselves. We all need community. If it is in our power to help others, it is incumbent upon us to do so. This Foundation’s mission is a step in that direction.
